Eisner Awards 2021

Os vencedores dos Prémios Eisner 2021.

Já são conhecidos os vencedores dos Eisner Awards 2021, tendo a 33.ª edição anual destes prémios decorrido numa cerimónia virtual. O principal vencedor deste ano foi Gene Luen Yang, com 3 prémios – Melhor Publicação Infantil, Melhor Adaptação para Outro Medium e Melhor Publicação para Adolescentes.

Houve ainda 7 galardoados com 2 prémios: Ed Brubaker (Melhor Livro de BD e Melhor BD Digital), Matt Fraction & Steve Lieber (Melhor Série Limitada e Melhor Publicação de Humor), Simon Hanselmann (Melhor Livro de BD Reeditado e Melhor Webcomic), Junji Ito (Melhor Edição Norte-Americana de BD Asiática e Melhor Argumentista/Desenhador), Stan Sakai (Melhor Série em Continuação e Melhor Legendagem) e Adian Tomine (Melhor BD Biográfica e Melhor Design de Publicação).

A editora que teve direito a mais prémios foi a DC Comics, com um total de 5 galardões (um deles partilhado) – 2 prémios para Superman Smashes the Klan e outros 2 para Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen, bem como o prémio partilhado do Melhor Argumentista James Tynion IV (com a Boom!, Image e Tiny Onion). Seguiu-se a Fantagraphics com um total de 4 prémios – Seeds and Stems, The Flapper Queens: Women Cartoonists of the Jazz Age, The Complete Hate e Goblin Girl. A IDW teve direito a 4 prémios (um deles partilhado) – 2 para Usagi Yojimbo,1 para Invisible Men: The Trailblazing Black Artists of Comic Books e 1 partilhado do Melhor Ilustrador de Capas Peach Momoko (com Boom!, Dynamite e Marvel).

Das obras vencedoras, somente uma se encontra publicada no nosso país, Pulp, da autoria de Ed Brubaker & Sean Phillips, publicada entre nós pela G. Floy, a qual foi galardoada com o Prémio de Melhor Novo Livro de BD.
